APEDA
APEDA registration is mandatory for anyone who wants to export agricultural or processed food products from India. Any Individuals, partnership firms, proprietary firms, private and public limited companies can register with APEDA.

Validity
APEDA certificates are valid for five years.
Cancellation
APEDA registration can be canceled if the registered entity violates the APEDA Act or regulations.
Penalties
Disobeying or attempting to breach the provisions of the APEDA Act can result in:
1.Imprisonment for six months
2.A fine of Rs. 1,000
3.Additional fines of Rs. 50 per day for repeated offenders.
DARPAN REGISTRATION:
Darpan registration is mandatory for Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) and Voluntary Organizations (VOs) that want to receive:
Grants or assistance from the state or central government
Foreign contributions under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA)
NGOs and VOs that register on the NGO Darpan portal receive a unique Darpan ID, which makes it easier to apply for funding opportunities and grants. The Darpan ID is also required for FCRA registration, which is necessary to accept foreign donations.
Darpan registration also helps build trust and confidence with donors, and increases the NGO's visibility with the community and donors.
